* OCTOBER *

Well, I'm slowly getting caught up. October was a really great month. It was so eventful and we had so much fun.  We started it off by celebrating Mike's birthday.  The big 29.  I made him breakfast (for the first time ever...sad I know) and then he headed off to work.

After work we celebrated with friends by going to eat at Terra Mia and making Mike blow out all 29 candles. While it looks like i'm helping him blow them out, I'm not. I don't know what I'm doing.

The next event was our wards Fall Festival where may have had a little too much fun in the kids section of the festivities.

We also went to Hee Haw Farms to pick out a pumpkin, pet some wild animals, and take this epic picture.

One of the highlights was the Masquerade party our friends Lauren and Devan threw. We all dressed up and had a spooky dinner and then played games.  I made this "spooky" vegetable  skeleton that I got from Pinterest.

Lauren is the queen of throwing parties and everything was perfect.  She did such an amazing job of decorating.

Then came Halloween. Mike's work had a competition where the best costume would win a hotel stay up in Park City. He wasn't going to do it until I convinced him he'd make a great woman. I searched through my 80's supplies and came up with this beauty. Unfortunately he did not win, but he was still a big hit.

Mike even wore some old perfume that really did the trick. I couldn't even stand next to him he smelled so bad!

So our ward Halloween party was actually two day's before Halloween so we hadn't found out yet how great Mike would look as a woman.  Also, I came down with laryngitis and so this was the best we could come up with. I do love Halloween though and hopefully next year I'll think of something great for us to be before it's too late.
