There's a Subway in Zion's

In the middle of August we went with some friends to hike the Subway in Zion's National Park, UT. Our friends Brad and Lindsey invited us and we had so much fun! Utah is so incredible and I love living here. For those who don't know, Zions is located about 300 miles south of Salt Lake City. This hike requires a permit that you can obtain from:            http://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/thesubway.htm

We traveled from the top down, which is about a 9.5 mile round trip hike that requires repelling in some areas, wading through water, and sliding through crevices.

This hike offers amazing views of red rocks, deep ravines, beautiful wildlife.

This is the Subway of Zion's National Park. It is VERY slippery here so walk with care, but make sure you snap some photos because the view is incredible.

This picture above is as you are coming out of the Subway and looking back. The rest of the hike includes following a small stream for a few miles to where you hike uphill at a steep incline. Be sure to pack LOTS of water and Band Aids... I got blisters even with my Chacos. It is a hike that you will never forget!
